Two young reporters have moved in to a cramped home with 8 Mexican immigrants in the MacArthur Park/Westlake neighborhood of Los Angeles. Devin Browne (radio and print) and Kara Mears (photography) are undertaking an interesting and earnest experiment; to learn Spanish and figure out a way to better report on LA, a place where most residents speak Spanish. We’ve released our Los Angeles episode, so I wanted to share with you the work of one forward-thinking Angeleno, James Rojas.
