Catherine is a storyteller, sportsfan, and sometimes-poet. She is particularly interested in the spatial dimension of storytelling, and is curious about the ways narratives literally and figuratively manifest in physical and social space. She believes that stories can help reveal the ways in which communities produce, inscribe, and read their own spaces, and make those spaces suddenly more accessible to everyone. Catherine has lived, worked and studied in Southern California, Western Massachusetts, Northern Ireland, Scotland, and inner-city Boston. Her passion for stories, service, space, and radio lead her directly to SOTRU, and she couldn’t be more excited to be part of the team.
