The Hospital Always Wins is a story a decade in the making. Back in 2004, producer Laura Starecheski visited a state mental hospital in Queens, New York, called Creedmoor. She met a patient there named Issa Ibrahim, an artist stuck in the catch-22 of a lifetime.
