    Excellent insight into the soul of a mariachi, edged with loneliness, but filled with the passionate consumption of “La Musica”.

    It was very funny that while we Mexicans make fun of Americans often mistaking bullfights, paella and Spanish attire and songs as Mexican, the first melody the mariachi depicted here plays is Spanish and very associated with bullfights…

    Great piece, loved it!

    Totally agree with Redgie Gutshall and let’s not forget that most mariachis are extremely adept and versatile musicians! Brought a tear to my eye.
