I attended Moogfest with a great friend of mine, and it was our thrid visit to Asheville in 2010. I loved this article, it is making me so excited to return to Asheville. It is one of the most beautiful and wise places I have ever visted. We have hung out downtown, ate great vegen food, drank many different well crafted beers, hiked up Mt. Pisgah, rode bikes in the Arboretum, stayed in a wonderful hostel for the first time (Sweet Peas), and grinned ear to ear through each minute of it. The hospitality, creativity, and intimacy of Asheville is so inspiring for me as a musician and an artist. Especially in retro-spect, the idea of curating Moogfest can not happen in a more comforting place. Thank you all for your efforts to keep the Moog legacy strong and relevant to the current evolution of sound!

I went to Moogfest last year, one of the first times I've been back to my hometown since leaving for college....it was a wonderful experience and I don't think there's a better city in the world for a festival like Moogfest
