Every city probably has its sandwich—New Orleans its Po Boy, Philly its Cheesesteak, the Chicago-style hot dog with its neon green relish. The Twin Cities entry may not be as well known, but it is certainly a highly celebrated entity by Minnesotans: the Jucy Lucy.

We are extremely excited about our September 8th event that will be held at the Hicks Auditorium in the downtown Jacksonville library. The event starts with a cocktail hour at 6:30 and will feature hors d’Oeuvres from celebrated Jacksonville restaurants Biscottis, Orsay and Bento Cafe, wine provided by Riverside Liquors & Village Wine Shop and beer from Bold City Brewery.
After the cocktail hour there will be a presentation with host Al Letson. The multimedia presentation will include a State of the Re:Union documentary, pieces from this season’s radio shows and Al’s reflections on the season and locations he visited. Melissa Ross from WJCT’s First Coast Connect will be on hand to emcee the event.
Also, there will be a raffle, courtesy of our generous challenge grant sponsors J. Wayne and Delores Barr Weaver, where you will have the opportunity to win an invitation for two to the owner’s suite for a Jags game!
